CobraTech has over 35 years’ dedicated experience in hose reels’ manufacturing, formerly trading under the names Lubetec, and Cobra Reeling.

Yes, the COBRA GROUP comprises Cobra Projects, Cobra Fire, and CobraTech.

CobraTech is an accredited distributor of both the Piusi and Ecodora fluids’ handling and metering product brands, carrying a wide range of imported stock.

Our range extends to spring retractable, hydraulic, pneumatic, and hand wind hose reels.

COBRA hose reels feature a compact modular design, water resistant hose guide assembly, sealed main bearings, a power spring manufactured from scaleless blue tempered spring-steel, high duty cycle inlet swivel, and high flow main shaft assembly.

Our range includes hose reels suitable for diesel, fuel, lubricants, high pressure grease, air, and water applications.

Although our primary colour has historically been royal blue, a demand for custom-coloured hose reels emerged over the years and increased to such an extent that we currently offer colour-coded hose reels across the colour spectrum based on client requirements. All our hose reels are painted on-site.

Technical support is available to all our customers and their respective networks, whether the need be for installation or repair work, access to technical manuals, or downloadable content off our website hub to ensure that your equipment is fit for purpose and remains fully functional.

Due to the multiple different types of hoses on the market, and the many varieties of applications, it is important to understand the specific environment where the hose will be utilised, the working pressure required, as well as the temperature and type of material running through it. Yes, our hose reels are used exclusively by both Cobra Projects and Cobra Fire across all of their custom truck body builds.

The Piusi range includes dispensers, diesel and oil pumps and meters, diesel and oil nozzles, as well as a variety of  meter and nozzle combos.

The Ecodora range includes grease and oil pumping equipment, diaphragm pumps, oil meters, nozzles and accessories, and both manual and spring retract hose reels.

The reel drum rotates between maintenance-free deep groove bearing units ensuring smooth reeling at a high operating duty.

The benefit is that the main shaft flows are sized for optimum flow and minimum shock loss.

General industry, mining, aviation, automotive service workshops, truck and bus lubrication servicing, general agriculture, roofing and general maintenance contractors, and heavy earth-moving equipment.

Our Ecodora Oxyacetylene hose reels come complete with dual 12m hoses that are ISO 3821 compliant, and suitable for welding at a pressure of 20 bar.

Pneumatic hose reels are safer and less labour intensive as they do not contain stored energy and can also accommodate longer hose lengths.
